As we begin our monthly hikes of 2017, it is important to expound on the reason why Mountain Slayers exists and what it’s primary objective is. Our single vision is
‘To unwrap the world, one destination at a time’
The world is God’s gift to us. Mountain Slayers seeks to unwrap this gift through exploring various destinations in Kenya, East Africa and the world at large. There is no better way to interact with the world than on foot.
Our tenet as Mountain Slayers- Kenya is; ‘Treasure and nourish relationships’
In line with these four areas we create time to be in the great outdoors, enjoying God’s creation, using the quiet time in nature for introspection, using the moments on expeditions to encourage or receive encouragement from fellow slayers, and finally appreciate the healing qualities of the different environments we explore.
Each hike comes with its unique challenges and we as slayers have learnt that by taking ‘One step at a time’ we are able to get to the summit and conquer whatever lies on our path.
